Eleven People On A Rope

Eleven people were hanging on a rope, under a helicopter – ten men and one woman.

The rope was clearly not strong enough to carry them all, so they decided that one had to leave, because otherwise they were all going to fall.

They weren’t able to choose that person, until the woman gave a very touching speech.

She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope, because, as a woman, she was used to giving up everything for her husband and kids or for men in general and was used to always making sacrifices with little in return.

As soon as she finished her speech…

All the men started clapping…

Although it doesn’t exactly flatter my gender, you’ve gotta see the funny side of that!

  1. I have heard that jokes so many times with the genders swapped that I really have no idea what the original one was!! 😀

    • Yes, so many of these various things go round and around on the net and in email, don’t they? Some remain funny though and there are always new bloggers and others who haven’t heard them. Thanks for commenting.

  2. I can always depend on you for either thought-provoking or funny…or both…..

    • Thank you for seeing me as dependable – dependable is good, right? Exciting would be even better, but then you don’t know me, do you? So thank you again… 😆

  3. That is one smart woman 🙂
    Have a great week Adam.
